Nusrat is a PhD research student at the Research School of Accounting. Her passion for accounting regulatory research lies in exploring the fascinating intersections between financial reporting and disclosure requirements and their broader implications. In her PhD research, she explores the far-reaching implications of reporting regulations for the real world, including corporate innovation, employee treatment, and workplace conditions within the supply chain.
Nusrat's research work has been showcased at a diverse array of conferences including, the 2023 International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Research Forum, the 41st, 44th, and 45th Annual Congress of the European Accounting Association, and the 2022 and 2021 Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ).
